Picture Person

Leo loves to look at the pictures on my computer slideshow. And with all pictures (onscreen or in print), he likes to point at the person in the picture, say their name and then point at that person in real life (if applicable). Oh, and he rarely points out himself in pictures. But in this case, he said "baby." And when I showed him this video, he said, "Hi, Baby!"

Slippin' and Slidin'

A few videos and pics from the park yesterday where Leo did a little walking (hence the slippin') and went on the slides (hence the slidin'). Okay, he didn't really slip when he walked but it worked in the title. It's so cute how he holds our hands now when he walks. This is new from this weekend! Also, thanks again to Tia Kristin for the replacement Longhorn hat!

Mommy's not a dare devil...

...but daddy is. This is the first time Leo went down a slide without assistance!

Crib Talk

Just a little conversation with Leo while he's playing in his crib. (He had just gotten up from a nap so that's why he's in his sleep sack. Thought I should explain since it kinda looks like a dress.)

Laura and David's 1st Anniversary in Santa Fe, NM

Laura and I took Granny Jo with us to Santa Fe for our 1st wedding anniversary weekend! If that is not "un-anniversary" enough... we met Mo and Charlie there too! It was actually one of the best weekends we have had thus far as a married couple. Sharing the weekend with our parents made it that much sweeter! Laura and I stayed at the Hilton in downtown Santa Fe and our parents (sorry Dad, we missed you) stayed at a friend of Mo and Charlie's house very close to downtown. Mo and Charlie surprised us with a mariachi band. Margaret (the same lady that played at our wedding reception) surprised us with Eddie, her band-mate, at a rooftop restaurant... It was an a great surprise... Enjoy a sample of the music...

Special Sign with Granny Jo

Leo thinks it's neat when Granny Jo pats her head and he does the same thing. We're calling it the "special sign." She put him to bed last night and just as she put him down he tried to lure her back into playing with him by doing the special sign.
